Why a Preview?
This website has become a much larger project than anticipated. It still requires a lot more time to finish, but at the same time we feel it needs feedback so we know that we are going on the right track.
This current version has been hacked together so everything works just for feedback.
Feedback
Primarily, the structure of the site needs feedback.
Things like:
- How they are structured (heirachies)
- What they are called
Design
- How the website is structured
- Legibility/clarity of text sizing, font choice and colour schemes
- Clarity of linked content over static content (content that do not contain links)
Keep in mind that a lot of the design have been very quickly thrown together so it *just* works for this release, so there isn't that much that can be commented on that we don't know about already.
Check the roadmap on the updates page to see if what you were going to suggest has already been put down.
Data Submissions
Anyone is free to submit data for possible inclusion.
Keep in mind that Darkfang Archive is a curated database, so only consider things that you feel are particularly good or interesting.

These are the kinds of main criteria for how something is included:
Social
- It doesn't have any specific inclination to cause harm or mislead.
- It serves as a place of conversation or interaction for any group of people this site covers. It doesn't have to be the main point of the place, just that they specifically allow such people and interactions.
You can also give information on social spaces that aren't online anymore, just so long as you have evidence of their former existence to prove it.

Sites and media
- It has to exist or be online somewhere (if you have a site that is or will no longer be around and you would like this site to mirror it, let me know :3)
- It doesn't have any specific inclination to cause harm or mislead.
- It has useful, interesting, entertaining or thoughtful things on it for whatever group of people this site covers.
Sites have to have their own exclusive content. They cannot just contain links to other sites.
Sites can also be blogs, but that blog has to specifically refer to topics covered by this website, or have a tag/category for the topics covered by this website.

This site currently only covers anything that either covers Otherkin (as defined in this website), Therianthropy or Real Vampirism as part of a broader coverage, or things that are exclusively aimed at these groups of people or groups within these categories.
Multiples, Fictives and Phytanthropes (Plantkin) are not currently covered. Submissions that only relate to these subjects in particular will not be taken for the time being.

Additionally with media, pick highlights.
While it is possible that Darkfang Archive will become more comprehensive in the future with writings, this site currently doesn't have the ability to process everything, and this site is currently geared towards starting points with information so that people may find things of interest and continue on from there.
You can give a large series of writings for the admins to go through, but it would be most helpful if you nominated your own highlights. We would also like to see nominations from other people's perspectives.
How can I submit feedback and data?

We are working on providing more options in the future. We want to find methods that have the right balance of being secure and at the same time not having to rely on services that invade privacy (ie. Google Forms).
